Non-Profit Housing Development

Beacon.org will be an organization committed to assisting “service providers” with developing construction initiatives from the conceptual vision to “locking the door.” We will provide a team of quality professionals whose technical expertise will facilitate the completion of any project while minimizing the hardship placed on the client. Beacon.org is committed to adopting green building practices and establishing industry benchmarks for alternative energy. We will work together with service providers to achieve maximum functionality through proven design, material selection, and efficiency. Once the project has been successfully completed we will continue to service the facility to ensure maintenance standards, aesthetics, and life expectancy for all systems. We intend to operate year round in New Jersey and may want to expand the reach of our program to other states eventually.

At Beacon, it is our belief that everyone deserves an opportunity to live in a clean, functional home that can facilitate an individual’s right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We are a country of excess and it is our belief that we can supply affordable housing for individuals and families without a tremendous burden on society. It is part of our mission to utilize our personal and professional networks to open doors for some that may not have had an opportunity. We will lease property if we do not have the means to purchase in pursuit of our effort to create affordable housing. We will align ourselves with other non-profit or profit business partners to create necessary and vital housing for all deserving groups. We will focus on positively impacting our youth but we will not discount any other worthy initiative.

The current difficulties in the housing market amply reveal the need for this project. The activities we conduct will all be in the service of advancing our goal.

The CEO, Kenneth J. Nelson, intends to commit 100% of his time to the project. He is driven by a passion to provide affordable housing using green technology.

Funding for the organization will be through solicitation of the public and businesses as well as government grants. We expect to ally with other organizations although the details of such activities are still in the planning stages.
